Active Autowerke is proud to launch our Signature Equal Length Midpipe for the BMW G80 M3 and G82 M4. This system brings to the G8X M our expertise gained from developing the first Equal Length Midpipe for the F8X M and is an alternative to our X and Single Midpipe exhausts for the G8X. It offers the benefits of an equal length exhaust system with a smoother sound at higher rpm. BMW had proposed an equal length solution with a crossover pipe from the short downpipe. However, the driver's side exhaust was overcompensated and the passenger's side exhaust length was extended. This equal length midpipe corrects the length of the passenger's side exhaust, giving the G80/G82 a truly equal length and smoother sound. Our equal length technology has been recognized as unique by US Patent No. 11248511 and pending patents in the UK and EU.

Although these cars have received rave reviews for their performance, the sound is muffled, leaving the driver confused as to whether they are actually driving a BMW M. To address this issue, Active Autowerke created a complete exhaust system for the G80/G82, including three mid-pipes (this one, the single outlet, or our X-pipe), a rear-valve exhaust, and a set of GESI catalytic converter downpipes. This redesign of the stock exhaust gives the G80/G82 a great sound. You'll feel like you're driving a real M again.

This upgraded exhaust system has been designed to work with most current aftermarket exhaust/muffler systems, requiring only two cuts to the stock mid-pipe. This system is bolt-on and can be installed by most manufacturers, and the stock mid-pipe can also be reinstalled if necessary.

This system provides the maximum available flow and restores the sports car rumble expected from a BMW M Series car.
