Airtec intake for Audi S1

As part of our expanding product range for the Audi platform, AIRTEC Motorsport is proud to launch its intake kit for the S1 model, suitable for use on the track or on fast roads.

Developed in-house at AIRTEC's UK headquarters, we have created a complete solution to improve the car's original air intake system to allow better flow while maintaining low intake temperatures, thus improving responsiveness, as well as the sound and aesthetics of the engine compartment.

Developed in-house at AIRTEC's UK headquarters, we have created a complete solution to improve the car's original air intake system to allow better flow while maintaining low intake temperatures, thus improving responsiveness, as well as the sound and aesthetics of the engine compartment.

Having already designed several closed intake kits for other performance models, we wanted to develop an intake system for the S1 model in order to offer significant improvements.

This kit includes a high-capacity cotton air filter, housed in the lower section of the original air filter housing, with an enlarged, three-part, laser-cut cover. This system provides ample space for the filter while retaining the original front air intake. The kit also includes a single, larger-diameter (80 mm) intake duct that gradually narrows to meet the original turbo elbow. This larger-capacity duct features a shallower, gentler angle to optimize internal airflow.

The result is increased power, improved throttle response, a more pronounced intake noise, and a more pleasing appearance of the engine compartment.

This kit is a direct replacement that requires no additional drilling or cutting for installation, and it comes complete with all necessary fixings and accessories, as well as detailed instructions.
