The APR intake system unleashes your engine's full potential! Its closed design effectively removes heat from the engine compartment, a source of power loss, thanks to a high-temperature dissipation material. It provides a direct and unrestricted flow of cool, dense air from outside the engine compartment, thus maximizing power. A high-flow filter ensures optimal, unrestricted filtration, keeping the engine clean and maximizing power. On the dyno, we measured a 31% increase in airflow (CFM) compared to the stock airbox and a 24% increase compared to the complete system. The result: a more responsive throttle, reduced stress on the turbocharger, and increased horsepower and torque. This system offers excellent value for money. It's quick to install, aesthetically pleasing, delivers a sporty engine sound, and is recommended regardless of your desired performance level. The APR intake system is modular. It connects to the original turbo's intake piping and offers substantial gains. For a complete system, the optional APR turbo intake pipe increases flow compared to the smaller original piping. Our intake pipe is a continuous, solid tube that connects to the turbocharger via a custom-fitted silicone sleeve. The PCV system connects easily to the intake using a machined aluminum adapter. Finally, the system utilizes a flexible coupling, allowing for some engine movement.
