The Eventuri intake system on the BMW E9X M3 is the result of extensive research and optimization that improves on probably one of the best designed stock intake systems we have seen. The stock airbox system on the E9X is a brilliantly designed intake with an excellent flow path and supply system for ambient air. However, upon closer inspection, there are restrictions in the intake tube connecting the airbox to the intake manifold. By redesigning the tube while retaining the airbox, we were able to allow the V8 engine to breathe more efficiently and therefore gain power. In addition to the new tube design, we also identified another restriction in the air supply system. To overcome this, we designed a scoop to allow increased airflow through the airbox. This further reduces the intake temperature values ​​and adds to the performance gain of the system.
