Eventuri carbon intake for Honda Civic Type R FL5

The Honda FL5 intake is the culmination of our FK8 iteration to provide an optimized solution, taking advantage of the increased space in the FL5 engine bay. By maintaining a sealed airbox, we have minimized heat absorption to ensure a constant supply of cool air to the turbo. As the intake sits directly behind the radiator, it is essential that the filter is not exposed, which would cause hot air to be drawn into the turbo.

We also replaced the OEM intake hose, which creates turbulence and therefore increases drag. With the FL5 intake, we designed a continuous path from the filter to the intake tube, eliminating drag and smoothing the airflow. Engine movement is now handled by the intake tube itself, which can move within the airbox while maintaining a heat seal.

Our carbon airbox has been designed to maximize the use of available volume and minimize heat input. The resulting performance gains and aesthetics are industry leading for the FL5 Type
