Akrapovic Carbon Rear Spoiler for BMW G42 M240/ G87 M2 Series

Description

Made from hand-crafted lightweight carbon fibre, this product is lacquered to create a high gloss finish. It is mounted on two swan neck design brackets, manufactured from lightweight CNC machined aluminium to provide the best weight to performance ratio. The brackets have been optimised to provide the optimum ratio of load capacity to weight. The bolts used to connect the wing and brackets are made from high grade titanium. High grade titanium reinforcements have been incorporated for improved structural stability at the pivot points. Designed with echoes from the world of motorsport, the wing's derived aerodynamic profile has been developed to achieve an extremely competitive downforce to drag ratio. A small lip is placed at the trailing edge of a wing to achieve maximum wing performance by creating even more downforce.

Optimised for the aerodynamics of the BMW M2 and M240i, Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) has been used to ensure the best functionality, and great attention has been paid to ensuring that the overall geometry does not cause additional air turbulence around the rear or generate additional noise from the side of the car.

Fully adjustable in three stages, the wing must be manually set to the desired angle before driving. It is ABE approved with type approval AKR-WI KBA 31882 and features a discreet monochrome Akrapovič logo on each side.
