As part of its expanding Audi product range, AIRTEC Motorsport is proud to launch its RS6 C8 intercooler upgrades suitable for track or fast road use.

To ensure there is no noticeable loss of performance during extended periods of hard riding, we have developed larger capacity, freer flowing intercoolers to replace the smaller, more restrictive OEM items.

The two stock intercoolers are mounted between the bumper and inner arch liners and utilize designated air guides at the front and rear to help efficiently direct air to and from the intercooler. Wanting to keep them in place, we chose to focus on creating a new core design that is the same width and height, but deeper to help increase cooling capacity.

The result is direct replacement intercoolers that reuse all stock hoses, mounting points, and air guides for simplicity, yet offer a whopping 21% increase in overall capacity over OEM intercoolers.

Combined with our high flow end tanks to ensure internal flow is directed correctly and efficiently, AIRTEC Motorsport intercooler upgrades provide greater efficiency and cooling volume than standard.

The kit reuses all original fasteners and includes detailed installation instructions for a simple and effective cooling solution.

Registration
Data from turbo outlet/pre-intercooler temperature and post-intercooler air temperatures showed that AIRTEC Motorsport's upgraded intercoolers maintained a stable rate with no abnormal spikes, despite a dramatic increase in turbo temperature of nearly 170% in a short period of time.
In comparison, the stock intercoolers were also recorded and when the data was overlaid, they too were unable to withstand the temperature spike, seeing a 60% increase compared to the AIRTEC intercoolers.
