MMX high-performance ignition coils install directly in place of your original coils. Whether your engine is stock or modified, it will immediately benefit from the increased power and stronger, more consistent spark generated by a set of MMX coils.

The role of a coil pack is to transform the 12-volt battery voltage into a much higher voltage. This more intense electrical energy provides a more reliable source for the operation of your spark plugs, thus improving engine performance through more efficient combustion of the air/fuel mixture.

We dedicated a significant portion of our development time to optimizing the energy levels of the coil pack to ensure controlled operating temperatures. This thermal management helps prevent failures throughout the coil pack's lifespan.

Replacing the coils is especially advisable for older engines still equipped with the original ones. A new set is an excellent preventative maintenance measure to avoid the risk of misfires due to aging and the gradual failure of the original coils.

Ignition coils with a power output exceeding the original by more than 10% overheat and deteriorate over time. We have optimized energy efficiency to keep the coils at the lowest possible temperature for as long as possible.

This level of increase represents the ideal equilibrium point, where the additional energy gain for spark power becomes negligible compared to the rapid increase in internal temperature, thus compromising long-term reliability and performance.

To facilitate disassembly and extend the life of the coils, we recommend applying dielectric grease around the rubber cap.
