BMW equips its vehicles with a fragile plastic oil filter housing, often prone to cracking during removal and reinstallation, which can lead to oil leaks. This beautifully machined filter housing guarantees you'll never encounter this oil seepage problem again, unlike the original part.

Each case is machined from a solid block of aircraft-grade 6061 aluminum. Meticulously machined from this block using the latest 5-axis CNC technology, it is then polished and anodized in a glossy black to maintain its flawless appearance year after year. The finished product is not only lightweight but also extremely durable.

And it's not just about aesthetics. The pressure-controlled oil bypass system integrated into the MMR housing eliminates the need to transfer the original plastic bypass valve from the original filter housing to the MMR housing – many people have broken these valves installing them on other aftermarket housings!

The installation is simple and best performed during an oil change and filter replacement. Simply remove the original housing, install the new MMR housing (supplied with an O-ring conforming to original specifications), and reinstall the housing.
