The KW Variant 4 (V4) coilover kit offers high-performance racing technology for everyday use on the road with the KW 3-way racing shock absorber adjustment technology. With the KW Variant 4 coilover kit, KW combines its cutting-edge racing technology with a significant increase in everyday suitability for many high-performance vehicles. This allows independent adjustment of the rebound damping as well as the compression damping at low and high speeds. KW offers the Variant 4 with a vehicle-specific performance setting. Thanks to the adjustable shock absorbers, riders can – if necessary – intuitively quickly switch to a comfort setting with the adjustment wheels integrated on the shock absorber.

Factory pre-configured damping setup with separate 3-way damper adjustment
The three-way adjustable high-performance shock absorbers with their independent rebound stage adjustment using "TVR-A" technology and the low- and high-speed compression damping using "TVCLH-A" technology are based on the successful racing technology of the multiple winner of the ADAC Zurich 24-hour race at the Nürburgring and, depending on the vehicle-specific design, are supported by aluminum support bearings. The new KW Variant 4 coilover kit is developed exclusively for selected high-performance vehicles, which can be moved more safely into the limit zone of driving dynamics thanks to sophisticated KW suspension technology.

TVR-A rebound damping
The patented two-stage “TVR-A” technology allows small flows to flow through an adjustable low-speed conical bypass at slow damping speeds and the main rebound valve for the large volume opens at higher piston speeds. This creates a significant increase in ride comfort without affecting the high speed in the safety zone. 16 exact clicks are available for individual adjustment, so you can choose between more comfort or more body control.

Compression cushioning TVCLH-A
With 6 exact clicks in the low-speed range and 14 exact clicks in the high-speed range of the compression stage, the valve cross-sections can be reduced or enlarged in order to obtain more or less compression damping. The "TVCLH-A" technology has a blow-by characteristic with large cross-sections, which allows high forces at low speeds for the best support of the vehicle body without letting the body lift at high damping speeds excited by the wheels (driving on curbs). The separate adjustment of low and high speed is always provided with an additional rebound adjustment ("TVR-A" technology) for independent adjustment of the 3-way damper.

Continuous descent
The KW 4 variant allows maximum or individual lowering within the tested adjustment range. Thanks to the dirt-resistant trapezoidal thread and the polyamide ring, the continuous lowering can be changed quickly and easily even after years.
