As with every KW coilover suspension, our suspension engineers also develop a sporty and harmonious basic setup for vehicle-specific applications of the KW V3. In addition to testing on our 7-column KW driving dynamics test bench, we also carry out extensive testing on country roads, on the autobahn and even on the Nürburgring Nordschleife, test kilometer after test kilometer, to guarantee you the perfect suspension setup. Similar to our racing coilovers from the KW Competition range, the KW V3's rebound and compression damping can be adjusted independently of each other. This individual adjustment option is appreciated by refiners, sports car builders, tuners, and demanding drivers worldwide.

The perfect suspension setting for significantly superior driving dynamics
If you have already made some performance modifications to your sporty road vehicle, it is easy to take them into account in the shock absorber tuning with the KW V3. The patented KW valve technology for separate adjustment of rebound and compression levels allows you to individually adapt KW's vehicle-specific basic setting. For example, the lower KW valve, adjustable with twelve clicks in the low-speed compression range, gives you the flexibility to take the characteristics of your high-performance and ultra-high-performance road tires into account when tuning the suspension.
Thanks to the patented pressure adjustment at the lower end of the stainless steel housing piston, you don't even need tools. The adjustable compression setting with its twelve precise clicks allows you to manually influence the body's roll and sway movements without having to change the rebound damping, which optimally matches the spring rate.
Thanks to the individual rebound adjustment of the KW V3, you can directly influence handling and comfort through precise click adjustment. Depending on the vehicle type, the rebound valves of the KW twin-tube shock absorbers are adjusted at the upper end of the piston rod using an integrated adjustment wheel or the plug-in adjustment wheel included in the scope of delivery.
By increasing the tractive force using the adjustment wheel, body-on-body movements are reduced. This means your car stays on track more precisely and you benefit from even greater stability when cornering at higher speeds. For example, if you switch from the wheel/tire combinations approved by your car manufacturer to larger rims, you can use the KW V3 to perfectly match the handling of your car and your new alloy wheels.

This is the only way we can honor our promise of offering a warranty of up to five years when a KW V3 coilover suspension is installed by a KW specialist dealer. Thanks to careful manufacturing and the use of high-quality components, KW stainless steel coilovers, for example, are 100% rust-proof and have an unlimited service life.
This means that the functionality of the stepless lowering via the dirt-resistant KW trapezoidal thread and the KW polyamide threaded ring is not impaired even after years.
