As part of our expanding Audi product range, AIRTEC Motorsport is proud to launch our cast turbo elbow for the RS3 8V kit for fast road or track use.

Our solution:
The bottleneck of the 2.5 TFSI engine is the turbocharger elbow, which decreases in diameter considerably as it passes behind the engine to the turbocharger. Our approach to improving this problem was to optimize the available space. This enabled our team of in-house design engineers to create an elbow that is unmatched on the market, both in terms of its increased diameter and its improved flow rate.

Featuring a 4″/102mm inlet, the elbow tapers smoothly without an aggressive step to ensure optimal flow from start to finish with significantly increased volume over standard.

The AIRTEC Motorsport enlarged elbow measures 8 mm² at its maximum cross-section, compared to 171 mm² for the stock tube, a considerable increase of 5%. On average, it is 026% larger internally compared to the standard elbow, which offers a significantly increased capacity. This improves throttle response and reduces restrictions, a key benefit for those looking for increased power.

A direct replacement part, the elbow is made from high quality cast aluminium and has been designed to work with our other AIRTEC Motorsport induction kits (similar sized induction kits should also fit). For right hand drive models, a notch has been added to allow clearance for the brake master cylinder.

The elbow comes with detailed fitting instructions and is designed to work with both standard and various hybrid turbos, thanks to the machined flanges (62,8mm and 65,7mm) supplied with the kit. The complete kit also includes a Pro Hoses replacement silicone breather hose and vacuum line, a new O-ring and all necessary fitting hardware.

Finished in powder coated black with a molded AIRTEC Motorsport logo, these upgraded elbows offer a great advantage to owners of modified RS3 8Vs.

Note: This elbow is designed to fit the AIRTEC Motorsport 102mm top tube/intake kit. Aftermarket top tubes/intake kits smaller than 102mm are not compatible with this elbow.

Also suitable for Audi TTRS (8S) and RS3 (8V and 8Y) from 2017.
