MMR 2-piece 370mm floating rear brake discs for BMW G8X

MMR high-performance brake discs are designed to directly replace your original discs and come as a complete kit including two-piece floating discs for the left and right sides. Each disc is not only lighter than the original part, but it also features significantly larger and more efficient directional cooling fins, ensuring consistent braking, optimal pad wear, and effective cooling.

Our 370mm discs run up to 30% cooler than original parts and offer up to 30% more efficient cooling.

The 370mm x 24mm two-piece floating rear discs perfectly complement our MMR front replacement discs. Identical grooves, identical performance.

Thanks to their two-piece, 370 mm floating design, the disc and hub expand radially and axially, absorbing heat generated during use and thus avoiding the warping and cracking problems most common with one-piece discs. The efficiency of this design gives MMR discs a significantly longer lifespan than original equipment discs. The friction surface features our signature grooves that optimize braking performance and evacuate debris from the pad surface, providing the perfect balance between braking feel and durability.

The central hub is made from aircraft-grade 6061-T6 aluminum. Our grooved rotors are constructed from proprietary metal alloys, capable of withstanding extreme braking temperatures while maintaining their shape. The rotors also utilize 72 curved, directional fins to force cool airflow through the rotor and dissipate heat.

Internal fins draw air from the center of the disc outwards, facilitating heat transfer. The rotation of the discs and fins plays a crucial role in brake cooling, acting like an air pump. Unlike original brake discs, our upgraded disc kit includes a right and a left disc to optimize cooling and ensure consistent braking power for your vehicle.

MMR discs dissipate heat much more efficiently, so original brake pads offer better performance in real-world conditions. We recommend track use only. Rest assured, you can use original or high-performance brake pads with our discs.
