The main challenge when designing a performance intercooler for the RS6/RS7 is the limited space behind the front bumper and wheel arches. This restricts the size of the intercooler core, reservoirs, and ambient airflow. Therefore, we made sure to utilize every millimeter of available space.

The intercooler cores, designed to do88 specifications and manufactured by Garrett Motorsport, utilize advanced aerospace technology. These cores feature thin, densely arranged cooling fins that provide highly efficient heat transfer, ensuring optimal performance.

Our uniquely designed, free-form molded end tanks evenly distribute airflow throughout the core. Extensive CFD analysis, 3D-printed prototypes, and bench testing resulted in a design optimized for maximum flow. The hose connections are 70 mm (2 3/4"), a significant 37% increase over the OE 60 mm (2 3/8") connections. These wider connections eliminate critical airflow restrictions, essential for improving turbo efficiency and achieving higher power outputs. To our knowledge, do88 is the only manufacturer offering such widened hose connections.

Included are premium ambient air guides made of vacuum-infused pre-impregnated carbon fiber (2×2 mm twill). These guides attach securely to the intercoolers with four screws, ensuring a constant flow of fresh air to the 29% larger core surface.

The kit also includes silicone hoses specially designed to fit the enlarged connections and seamlessly integrate with the original intercooler piping. The intercooler welds are performed in-house at the do88 factory in Sweden, ensuring optimal quality.

Since stock intercoolers often reach their limits, especially on modified vehicles, an upgrade becomes essential. Whether your vehicle runs at stock or significantly increased pressure, our intercooler kit dramatically improves performance compared to the original intercooler.

CHARACTERISTICS :

Increased core volume: 50% larger (10,063 cm³ vs. 6,689 cm³ OEM).
