Active Autowerke is proud to launch the Active Autowerke Signature Catalyst Downpipes with GESI G-Sport Catalysts for the BMW G80 M3, G82 M4, and G87 M2. Despite praise for their performance, the sound of these cars is muffled, leaving the driver confused about the reliability of a BMW M. To address this, Active Autowerke has created a complete exhaust system for the G80/G82/G87, including a mid-pipe, rear-valve exhaust, and GESI Catalyst Downpipes. This redesign of the original exhaust gives the G80/G82/G87 a great sound. You'll feel like you're driving a real M again.

BMW introduced a new single-turbo Valvetronic version of its direct-injection engine for later F-chassis models from 2016 and continues on the G-chassis models. The evolution towards the S58 engine continues with the twin-turbo variant used in the M-series vehicles. The Active Autowerke S58 downpipes in the G80 M3, G82 M4 and G87 M2 help exploit some of the potential limited by the stock downpipes.

Turbochargers are powered by exhaust gases produced during combustion. The faster these gases are expelled, the better. Unfortunately, the S58's stock downpipe is a bit restrictive, which slows down exhaust gas flow and turbo operation. For the first stage of the Active Autowerke G8X M3/M4/M2 range, we are introducing our signature catalyzed downpipe.

The Autowerke G80/G82/G87 S58 Signature Active Exhaust Downpipe features a 7,6" diameter stainless steel tube for more power, increased acceleration, and extreme durability. We integrated stainless steel flex joints and then reduced the diameter to 70mm to match the stock exhaust system. We never reduce the diameter below the stock 70mm.

This variant includes a pair of GESI Ultra High Flow 4,5" catalytic converters that will NOT produce a CEL!

The GESi G-Sport Ultra High Output Catalytic Converter is constructed entirely of 304 stainless steel, including the substrate. GESi UHO Series catalytic converters are EPA-registered and compliant in 49 US states, and fully OBD2 compliant, making them a perfect fit for 1996 and newer vehicles.
