As part of our expanding Toyota product range, AIRTEC Motorsport is proud to launch our intercooler upgrade for the Yaris GR Gen 2, suitable for track or fast road use.

Following the huge success of our Stage 1 intercooler for the Generation 1 model, we have created a package suitable for Generation 2 models with automatic or manual transmission.

The second-generation Yaris GR uses a slightly different intercooler kit than the first generation, both in terms of assembly and the use of the water spray bar. To ensure consistent performance during long, intensive driving sessions on the road or track, AIRTEC Motorsport has developed a larger, smoother-flowing intercooler, directly replacing the smaller, more restrictive original intercooler.

Our solution to optimizing the size and performance of the intercooler is based on our stepped core design, which maximizes the limited space available behind the bumper. The core is reduced from 110 mm to 70 mm, providing a significant 64% increase in total capacity compared to the original intercooler. It also offers a 30% increase in frontal area compared to the standard version, which helps optimize airflow.

The inlet side of the intercooler retains a diameter of 50mm to ensure minimal turbo lag while the outlet side increases to 60mm to provide less restriction.

Combined with our high flow one-piece cast tanks and an internal air diverter to ensure flow is directed correctly and efficiently, the AIRTEC Motorsport intercooler offers efficiency and volume well above the standard.

Despite this improvement, the kit fits perfectly behind the original bumper and requires no cutting. It can be easily restored to stock condition. Designed for both automatic and manual transmissions, it includes a new bracket for the water spray bar. This complete installation kit includes all necessary accessories, Pro Hoses silicone fittings, and step-by-step installation instructions.

The intercooler is available in a Pro-Series black finish (with or without the AIRTEC logo) and gloss black Pro Hoses silicone connectors.
