The 8-litre V4,4 biturbo engine (S63 B44T4) of the BMW M models has an indirect charge air cooling circuit in which the charge air cooling process takes place via a water-cooled intercooler. With our innovative, high-performance intercooler from Wagner Tuning, you can replace the original intercooler and benefit from an impressive increase in performance.

Our high-performance intercooler features a new performance mesh measuring 192 mm x 156 mm x 128 mm. It has been developed specifically for the high demands of the BMW M5/M8 engine and offers an incredible 75% more external mesh volume than the standard intercooler. The optimized ratio between the inner and outer cooling surface ensures maximum heat transfer and optimum internal airflow. The cast aluminum end housings have been designed using the latest CAD technology and optimized using CFD simulations. The result is exceptional cooling properties with minimal back pressure, ensuring optimum cooling of the charge air with a significant increase in performance. This kit is ideal even for demanding racing.

To ensure a long-lasting cooling effect, all Wagner Tuning intercoolers are equipped with a heat-conducting anti-corrosion coating. Thanks to our detailed installation instructions, the system is easy to install and works in a plug & play manner.
