Description

The factory intercooler on the 2.0 TSI MQB 'Evo' proved unable to cope with the demands of higher-powered, hard-driving cars, resulting in severe power losses during hard driving when air temperatures soar.

Our massive 'plate and bar' intercooler system uses a huge 70mm core to deliver a 96% volume increase over the factory cooler, making it the largest and highest performing intercooler upgrade offered for the 2.0 TSI gen.4.

By constantly reducing the intake air temperature (IAT), cooling is minimized, resulting in a consistent increase in performance. This eliminates the recovery cooling times required by the standard air exchanger.

Our development focused on finding the right balance between maximum IAT cooling and minimal pressure loss. This allowed us to increase the size without increasing the response time.

The increased 70mm inlet and outlet sizes allow for higher flow over the factory 60mm outlets, with matching boost pipes supplied with the intercooler kit.

Unlike most aftermarket intercoolers listed for the MQB 'Evo' platform, ours has been designed exclusively for the 2.0 TSI Gen.4 from the ground up.
