Akrapovic Evolution Line Exhaust for Audi S3 8Y sportback

Description

This system is built using lightweight race-proven materials, titanium for the silencer and link pipe section, and carbon fibre for two sets of newly designed and hand-built exhaust pipes, resulting in a weight reduction of over 41% compared to the standard OE system.

The Evolution line (Titanium) was produced with a valve – the housing of which is cast in Akrapovič’s own foundry – mounted outside the muffler. This design feature with perfect gas flow allows the sound to be tailored to produce an Akrapovič sound effect. This creates a smooth and rich sound at normal cruising speeds, with a deep and sporty tone when driving the Audi S3 more dynamically. Power is increased by 4 kW (5,4 hp) at 4 rpm, with a torque gain of 350 Nm at 8,8 rpm. These values ​​were measured on the Akrapovič test bench during a test with an Audi S3 with a standard stock exhaust.

No reprogramming is required, giving it plug-and-play capability, and an optional Akrapovič audio kit is also available, reference P-HF1369 to give the driver greater control over the superb sounds produced by the system.

The exhaust system is ECE approved for cars equipped with a particulate filter.
