Description

The Slip-On Line exhaust system is constructed from a high-grade, ultra-lightweight titanium alloy, increasing the R8’s power-to-weight ratio and handling characteristics. The Slip-On Line (Titanium) system has been precision-engineered to improve throttle response and increase both power and torque. The high-performance exhaust system is designed to reduce backpressure to almost half of the original levels through a combination of specialized muffler shapes, secondary resonators and titanium dual-mode exhaust valves. It is complemented by two hand-crafted carbon fiber and titanium tailpipes that integrate seamlessly into the R8’s original diffuser. It is tuned to enhance the sporty note of the V10 engine while ensuring maximum comfort and enjoyment in the car’s cabin. The sound changes from a pleasant growl at low revs to the unmistakable Akrapovič racing sound as the revs rise and the excitement builds.
