Evolution Line Titanium Akrapovic Exhaust for Ferrari F8 Tributo / Spider

Description

The main parts of this system with central silencer are made of high-quality lightweight titanium. The link pipes are made of high-quality stainless steel, and the complex parts such as the titanium housing of the exhaust valves and the outer shell of the titanium exhaust pipe are cast in Akrapovič's in-house foundry. The heat insulation is made of stainless steel, and each link pipe contains a 300 cpsi catalytic converter.

The Evolution Line (Titanium) exhaust is also expected to perform. Power is increased by 13,2 kW (17,9 hp) at 5 rpm, with a torque gain of 650 Nm at 33,6 rpm. These figures were achieved in back-to-back tests on the Akrapovič test bench against a Ferrari F2 Tributo using a standard production exhaust. It also produces a stunning sound thanks to the application of two valves – one on each side of the silencer – which adapt the gas flow to produce a deep racing sound perfectly suited to the car’s 400-litre twin-turbo V8 engine.

This system also comes equipped with an Akrapovič audio kit, which allows the sound to be controlled from the cockpit. This allows the car's occupants to easily switch from quiet mode to a sportier sound using the audio remote control, which opens and closes the exhaust valves, providing a fuller and more involved experience. Due to the nature of the exhaust system, reprogramming is recommended, and it is designed for use on circuits and closed-course competition venues.

For cars equipped with petrol particulate filters: When installing the Evolution Line exhaust system (Titanium), reprogramming of the ECU is mandatory.
