Akrapovic Titanium Slip-On Line Exhaust for BMW F39 X2 M35i

Description

Beautifully crafted from high-grade titanium, this lightweight exhaust system features eye-catching carbon fibre tailpipes and is a true sensory delight. The exhaust valve, whose housing is cast in the in-house foundry, gives the exhaust a rich sound with an emphasis on high frequencies, particularly when changing gear, all combined with a deep tone that highlights the car’s engine without disturbing or buzzing the occupants. A specially designed Y-splitter reduces flow noise without compromising pressure pulse distribution, providing a powerful sound and an optimal flow path. The use of lightweight materials and a different configuration reduces the overall weight of the exhaust by 9,4 kg, a saving of 55,6% compared to the standard version. The exhaust design and construction optimises power and torque levels across the rev range, with increased performance of 3,3 kW (4,5 hp) at 5 rpm and 350 Nm of torque at 5,9 rpm. This result was achieved in internal testing with back-to-back runs on the Akrapovič test bench against a BMW M5i using a standard exhaust.

The exhaust system is ECE approved for cars equipped with an Otto/petrol particulate filter.

To install the Slip-On Line (Titanium) exhaust system, the stock exhaust system must be cut; please read the instructions carefully before starting the installation.
