Akrapovic Titanium Slip-On Line Exhaust for BMW G09 XM

Description

This product is made of high-grade titanium, with integrated acoustic reflectors, designed to reflect external sound back into the cabin and enhance the overall acoustic experience of the Akrapovič exhaust. Two integrated exhaust valves, each on one side of the muffler and actuated by the Akrapovič control kit, adapt the gas flow for an enriching sound experience. The sound has a linear flow based on engine speed and load, delivering a smooth, harmonious tone at low revs and rising to a distinctive V8 growl in the mid-range before reaching a crescendo of sporty high-frequency sound as the revs increase.

The exhaust is completed by two sets of eye-catching tailpipes, with a titanium inner sleeve and a hand-crafted carbon fiber outer sleeve. The intricate parts of this Slip-On (Titanium) line, including the valve housings and dual headers, are all cast in the company’s in-house titanium foundry. The system is 11,35 kg (50,7%) lighter than the standard system.

It delivers power and torque increases of 7,6 kW (10,3 hp) and 12,6 Nm respectively, both at 5 rpm, when tested on the Akrapovič test bench against a BMW XM Label with an M exhaust system. Plug-and-play installation means no reprogramming is required, and it comes with EC/ECE type approval.

The Slip-On Line exhaust system (Titanium) is ECE approved for cars equipped with an Otto/petrol particulate filter.Fitment notice: This product is not suitable for the BMW XM 50e model.
