Akrapovic Titanium Slip-On Line Exhaust for BMW G26 M440I Gran Coupe

Offering significant weight savings, increased power and torque, and a spectacular sound, this system is constructed from high-quality, lightweight titanium and complemented by handcrafted carbon fiber exhaust tips. The system offers a weight saving of 11,89 kg compared to the standard original system, an incredible difference of 33%. Power and torque are increased by 3,4 kW (4,6 hp) at 2,650 rpm and by 12,4 Nm at 2,650 rpm in Akrapovič dynamometer tests compared to a BMW M440i with a standard exhaust. An exhilarating sound is delivered through the use of special components within the system. Two valves – instead of one, as in the original configuration – are calibrated to tailor the sound, and two acoustic reflectors are mounted on the exhaust outlets to guide the sound into the car's cabin and transform the driving experience, producing a fully immersive sound inside the car, providing thrills and enjoyment for all occupants. Since the Akrapovič Slip-On Line (Titanium) exhaust system features two valves, one more than the original configuration, a TNG controller is included to activate the additional exhaust valve. Two resonators, one on each side of the center muffler, further enhance the sound experience. The smooth, rich sound at normal cruising speeds builds to a deep, sporty soundtrack during more spirited driving, and the tones can also be controlled from inside the cabin with the addition of the optional Akrapovič sound kit, part number P-HF1351 . Special components are cast in Akrapovič's in-house foundry to create the intricate and complex elements required for this system. It complies with ECE type approval, and no reprogramming is necessary for this setup (the system only fits vehicles equipped with the OPF filter, and the ECE certificate is only valid for these cars; for non-OPF vehicles, an Evolution Line system is available). An optional link pipe kit is available for customers seeking an upgrade to the Slip-On Line (Titanium) exhaust system.

An additional original valve actuator (part number 18308686640) is required when installing the Slip-On exhaust system on BMW M340i (G20, G21) and M440i (G22, G23, G26).
