Following the success and experience gained with the Slip-On Line exhaust system developed by Akrapovič for the Lamborghini Gallardo, the new system for the Lamborghini Huracán takes this superb car to new heights. Precision-engineered from high-grade titanium alloy, designed to significantly reduce weight and improve handling, the Slip-On Line system features larger main pipes than the standard system and a specially designed X-piece (for cross-flow) in the silencer to reduce back pressure, increasing power and torque levels throughout the rev range. The unmistakable growl of the naturally aspirated V10 engine improves as performance increases, delivering a distinctive note that delights the senses, without any unwanted noise in the cabin. At low revs and during cruising operation, the valves are closed, producing a deeper, higher-pitched exhaust note, but as the revs increase and the valves open, the engine’s passionate soundtrack is released to show that the Huracán means business. This exquisite system is perfectly finished with four carbon fibre tailpipes, ensuring that this exhaust looks as good as it sounds and performs.
