Description

Sound, design and performance have combined to create this stunning exhaust. Akrapovič’s sound engineers have produced a rich, harmonic, high-frequency sound in the upper rev range, which combines perfectly with the deep sound in the lower range to deliver a hum-free in-cabin listening experience and a sound that lingers long after the throttle has been released.

Made from high-quality lightweight titanium, with parts manufactured in the in-house foundry to create a perfect fit in the limited space available, the three mufflers – two side and one central – are uniquely configured, perfectly designed by Akrapovič technicians. There is a choice of two different sets of round titanium tailpipes, sandblasted and coated, and available in natural or black titanium finish. The inner side of the tailpipes features a dynamic relief surface for added aesthetic value. An engraved logo adds to the visual presence.

The Akrapovič test bench recorded a power gain of 4,8 kW at 3 rpm and a torque increase of 000 Nm at 15,8 rpm, using a Porsche 2 Cayman GT900 with a stock exhaust system for comparison. This gives the system, designed for track use only and not for road use, performance to match its innovative design and aesthetics.

Additional options are available: a set of titanium link pipes for the Slip-On Line Race (Titanium) upgrade and a carbon fiber diffuser, matt or glossy, can be added to emphasize the design of the Akrapovič exhaust outlets. For better control of the exhaust system sound, the optional Akrapovič Sound Kit reference P-HF1293 is available to control the exhaust valves at any time and allow the driver to choose the preferred setting.

This system is also suitable for vehicles equipped with Otto Particulate Filter (OPF).

Fitting notice: A modification to the mounting brackets made by Porsche on the 718 GT4/Spyder produced approximately after February 2020 has been identified. Please contact your regional sales manager for a detailed explanation of the differences in order to choose the appropriate exhaust for your car.
