Akrapovic Titanium Link Pipe Set for Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 / Spyder / Boxster GTS

Description

The connecting tube set (SS) has been tested and developed with the Slip-On Race Line system (Titanium).

Made from high-quality lightweight titanium, with flanges cast in the in-house foundry that fit perfectly with the Slip-On Race Line (Titanium) exhaust system, these pipes have been developed to create a complete Akrapovič system offering increased performance and a thrilling soundtrack. With the fusion of these two cutting-edge products, the sound has a real racing character with a sporty and pleasant high-frequency tone, in perfect harmony with the vehicle's performance.

The combination of a Slip-On Race Line (Titanium) and a set of link pipes (Titanium) was tested on the Akrapovič test bench, using a Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 with a stock exhaust system for comparison, and the Akrapovič setup delivers a power gain of +11,6 kW at 2 rpm combined with a torque increase of +600 Nm at 43,0 rpm. The complete exhaust and link pipe set is intended for track use only and is not intended for road use.

This system is also suitable for vehicles equipped with Otto Particulate Filter (OPF).

For OPF: When installing the link pipe set (Titanium), ECU reprogramming is mandatory.

Fitting notice: A modification of the mounting brackets made by Porsche on the 718 Cayman GTS 4.0/Boxster GTS 4.0 produced approximately after February 2020 has been identified. Please contact your regional sales manager for a detailed explanation of the differences in order to choose the appropriate exhaust for your car.
