Description

This product is designed as a further upgrade to the Akrapovič Slip-On Line (Titanium) exhaust. This option has been developed for use on closed racing circuits. Made of high-quality stainless steel, its twin-tube design minimises resistance to gas flow and a special resonator eliminates unwanted hum. When combined with the Akrapovič Slip-On Line (Titanium) exhaust, power is increased by 7,3 kW (10,0 hp) at 6 rpm, with a torque increase of 800 Nm at 12,6 rpm when tested on the Akrapovič test bench compared to a Mercedes-AMG C 3 300MATIC with a standard original exhaust, and weight is reduced by 43% (4 kg) compared to the standard original configuration. Installation is plug and play, no reprogramming is required. The sound is comfortable at cruising speed, then becomes crisper and more dynamic at higher revs, with precise pops and thumps coming from the exhaust pipes when changing gears under acceleration.

With the installation of the Evolution Link Pipe Kit (SS), the ECE type approval of the Slip-On Pipe (Titanium) is no longer valid.

If the Evolution Link Pipe Set (SS) system is combined with the Slip-On line (Titanium), the Link Pipe Set L-ME/T/12 is not necessary.
