Akrapovic Evolution Link (SS) Pipe Set for BMW F40 M135 and Mini F54/F60

Description

The Evolution Link (SS) pipe kit has been tested and developed with the Slip-On Line (Titanium) exhaust system to provide an ideal upgrade and greater exhaust tuning potential. Using this setup is designed for the race track and will deliver a sporty sound and superior performance. With the removal of the OPF, sound levels and frequency content are accentuated, delivering an increased sound, leading to an exhilarating tone with crackles and gurgles as a pleasant aural assault when revving and downshifting. The change in performance is a noticeable factor: compared to back-to-back tests on the Akrapovič dyno against a BMW M135i using a standard stock exhaust, there is a power increase of 5,1 kW (6,9 hp) at 4 rpm and 250 Nm of torque added at 11,5 rpm.

When installing the Evolution Link (SS) hose set, developed for use on closed tracks only, ECU remapping is mandatory to avoid potential 'check engine light' warning signals.

Fitment Note: This product can only be installed on vehicles equipped with a V-clamp connection between the original downpipe and the link pipe. For more information, please read the installation instructions supplied with the product.
