Akrapovic Titanium Evolution Header Set for Porsche 911 GT3 / GT3 Touring (992)

Description

The Evolution Header Kit (Titanium) has been tested and developed with the Race Line Slip-On System (Titanium).

This product is made from high-grade titanium, with sandblasted and coated parts for durability. This new header set features routing designed to perfectly direct the gas flow. Featuring the special collector crossover pipes in the headers, cast in Akrapovič’s in-house titanium foundry, this innovative design is taken directly from race-proven exhaust systems, and is the first time it has been featured in an Akrapovič aftermarket exhaust. This engineering masterpiece is uniquely designed to optimise the performance of the Slip-On Race Line (Titanium) in the mid-range. Many of the header parts are cast in-house, and the full use of titanium results in a weight saving of 3,8 kg, or 28% less than the stock equivalent.

Tuned quarter-length resonators in addition to catalytic converters ensure sound quality and the absence of distortion or unwanted frequencies, creating a unique sound experience. The combination of an Akrapovič Slip-On racing line (Titanium) and a set of Evolution headers (Titanium), developed for use on closed racing circuits only, provides power increases of 16,6 kW (22,6 hp) at 4 rpm and 550 Nm of torque at 35,2 rpm, when tested on the Akrapovič test bench against a Porsche 4 GT500 (911) with a standard stock exhaust.

When installing the Akrapovič Evolution (Titanium) header kit on vehicles equipped with particulate filters, it is mandatory to reprogram the ECU in order to avoid potential warning signals such as "check engine light". When installing the Akrapovič Evolution (Titanium) header kit on vehicles without particulate filters, it is recommended to reprogram the ECU.

This system is also suitable for vehicles equipped with Otto Particulate Filter (OPF).

This product is not suitable for RS version.
