Eventuri Turbo Tube V3 Upgrade Carbon Kit Honda Civic FK2

Introducing our updated carbon turbo tube for the FK2, now with an even larger volume, allowing the turbo to operate with even fewer restrictions and therefore unleash even more power. Our turbo tube was designed with these 3 key objectives:

1) VOLUME: Inlet Diameters – Eventuri 78 mm at the intake end, increasing to 88 mm vs. Stock 63 mm. Starting with the intake system connection, we adapted the MAF tube diameter, which now increases to 88 mm through the main section of the tube, resulting in a 96% increase in cross-section compared to the OEM tube. Clearly, with significantly larger internal diameters, the Eventuri tube encapsulates a much larger internal volume, freeing up the flow path to the turbo. This allows the turbo to operate more efficiently and reach maximum boost levels more quickly. It also allows the turbo to operate at full power with less load on the turbine.

2) FLOW QUALITY: Simply having a large internal volume is insufficient unless the flow path also allows for smooth airflow to the turbocharger. By using high-temperature pre-impregnated carbon fiber, we achieved a smooth internal surface. In contrast, the original inlet tube is made of cast aluminum and has a rough internal surface. This, combined with the gentle curve of the elbow, results in a flow path that minimizes turbulence.

3) TEMPERATURE: The final criterion was to minimize heat conduction into the airflow. The original inlet is directly connected to the turbo and therefore immediately conducts heat while the turbo is spooling up. Our system uses a machined flange that connects to the turbo, then a silicon coupler with an integrated thermal spacer to prevent the carbon elbow from making direct contact with the turbo. This barrier, combined with the low thermal conductivity of carbon fiber, results in less heat transfer to the airflow.

This turbo tube was designed to equip the FK2 intake with the carbon MAF tube.
