As part of our expanding BMW product range, AIRTEC Motorsport is proud to launch our wheel arch clearance grilles for the BMW G87 M2, G80 M3 and G82 M4 models.

The problem :
Original BMW wheel arches feature a vented section that allows air to escape from the front bumper. However, this section provides very little clearance to the tire when cornering, which is acceptable for a standard car. However, modification with lowered suspension, wider tires, or even simple wheel spacers will cause the tire to come into contact with the vented section and instantly damage it. The plastic fins can then break, which can also damage the tire.

The solution :
Simple yet effective, our design team has developed replacement grilles that attach to the wheel arch liner to provide the necessary additional clearance. Tested on a lowered car with wider tires, these grilles prevent large debris from entering while allowing air to escape from the front bumper.

Made from 2mm aluminium and finished in a high quality black powder coat, the grilles feature our own laser cut hexagonal design within the grille.

The grilles attach to the arch liner with seven fixings on each side to ensure rigidity and the kit comes with all fittings and fixings, as well as detailed installation instructions.

Please note: Drilling and removal of original vents is required for installation.
