This is a self-designed intercooler developed by do88 for easy installation in your VW.

Advantages of the high-performance do88 intercooler (original VW Golf GTI intercooler):
– Larger cell pack volume: 15347 cm3 (7719 cm3), 99% larger!
– 5% larger active cooling area, 2692 cm2 vs. 2573 cm2.
– Air flow at a pressure drop of 0.15 bar: 455 CFM (310 CFM), 47% higher!
– Lower temperature after intercooler at the same test conditions: 24°C (36°C), 12°C lower!

This intercooler is designed for the best possible cooling capacity under demanding conditions. Made entirely of aluminum with welded seams, it guarantees durability and endurance when it is really needed. The enlarged cell pack volume improves cooling capacity and reduces liquid temperature. Since this is a do88 performance product, we obviously carried out extensive testing during the development phase to achieve the best performance. No compromises were made. This radiator is optimized for space as much as possible for installation in the original location.

A 99% higher cell pack volume is a difference we are proud to have achieved. It is something that is actually felt. The engine improves considerably across the entire range and withstands repeated acceleration without building up heat. The perception that the charge air cooler is something that does not need to be replaced until reaching a high degree of cut is not correct, but it is still very common misconception. During hot Swedish summer days, repeated rehearsals, inspired driving, or generally, in a warmer climate, it takes no effort for the engine to start generating dangerously high intake temperatures, even on a completely undamaged car. In many cases, the cooling capacity of standard intercoolers is significantly lower than standard and affects the engine and its power. The heat must be removed, otherwise the promised power will be significantly reduced as soon as you start to apply the gas. This intercooler ensures that the car's performance is always there.

This product comes with everything needed for easy assembly without requiring any modifications to the vehicle's original shape. Screws, washers, studs, and assembly instructions are naturally included.
