The Wagner Tuning high-performance intercooler features a new racing net (tubular fin) with dimensions of 600 mm x 204,6 mm x 80 mm (9,8 litres), specially developed for the requirements of the Fiat 500 Abarth. This high-performance network offers an 85% larger airflow surface and a 131% larger network volume compared to the original intercoolers. The cast aluminium end housings were designed in CAD and optimised using CFD simulations (for ideal internal airflow).

For optimum heat exchange, the Wagner Tuning high-performance intercooler is installed at the front of the vehicle and thus replaces the two original side intercoolers. In conjunction with the Wagner Tuning silicone hoses, the newly developed elliptical pipe connection at the outlet of this intercooler allows the maximum possible reduction of the charge air distance. Thanks to this and the generally lower back pressure of the charge air system (see diagram), the overall response behavior could be significantly improved.

An anti-corrosion coating with heat-conducting properties protects the Wagner Tuning heat exchanger from all environmental influences, ensuring an optimal and long-lasting cooling effect. Installation is carried out by replacing the original exchanger and is simple to carry out (plug and play). All our products are subject to constant quality control.
