The MINI F56 is equipped with three underbody reinforcement bars. These superb MMR Performance machined aluminum reinforcement bars replace the original steel bars. Made from lightweight T-6061 aluminum, they offer increased rigidity, optimal exhaust clearance, and maximum strength, thus improving the dynamic performance of your MINI on both road and track.

Although functional, the original steel reinforcement bars are heavy and unsightly; unlike our MMR machined aluminum underbody reinforcement bars.

Machined from T-6061 aluminum, each bar has been designed and profiled to eliminate a considerable amount of superfluous material, while retaining rigidity and, consequently, strength.

With a larger diameter exhaust system, the original reinforcement bars provide insufficient clearance. Rather than completely removing the tunnel reinforcement bars (as some do), MMR underbody reinforcement bars allow you to replace them, providing the necessary clearance while preserving essential body rigidity.

Despite the increased rigidity, these improved dynamic performances preserve driving comfort and introduce no additional noise, vibration, or jolts into the passenger compartment.

The design of the reinforcement bars simplifies installation, utilizing existing body mounting points without drilling or removing trim. The installation is therefore completely reversible.
