As part of our expanding Yaris GR product range, AIRTEC Motorsport is proud to launch our closed carbon air induction system suitable for track or fast road use.

Developed in-house at AIRTEC's UK headquarters, we have created a complete solution to improve flow while maintaining low intake temperatures, resulting in improved performance, response, sound and aesthetics in the engine bay.

Having designed an armored intake kit for the Yaris GR model, we wanted to develop a more comprehensive intake package to offer new improvements.

Building on our experience in developing and producing our WRC-inspired Closed Air Induction System (CAIS) for the Focus RS, which proved to significantly increase power and torque, we set about developing a complete replacement airbox carefully molded to our design in lightweight carbon fiber material to improve thermal efficiency.

Inside is a large Group A style cotton air filter that draws fresh air only from the front intake, ensuring minimal heat soak issues and the lowest possible intake temperatures.

Our kit also includes a replacement mass air flow (MAF) sensor housing and rear intake pipe, both 80mm in diameter and finished in black powder-coated. The kit comes with high-quality Pro Hoses silicone fittings and all the necessary hardware for a simple installation.

This direct replacement kit comes pre-assembled and ready to install. It requires no additional drilling or cutting and comes with detailed installation instructions.

Overall, the result is a complete kit that delivers increased power, improved throttle response, increased induction noise, and a more pleasing engine bay appearance that perfectly suits the GR.

Bench tested
Developed on our own fully modified GR AIRTEC Motorsport Yaris, with the closed air induction system, the car produced 335hp, 5hp more than our open filter induction kit, while our thermal imaging camera showed that it continued to repel heat build-up from the local area.

Overall, the result is a complete kit that delivers increased power, improved throttle response, increased induction noise, and a more pleasing engine bay appearance that perfectly suits the GR.
