As part of our expanding VW and Audi product range, AIRTEC Motorsport is proud to launch its enhanced air intake kit for owners of modified EA888 Gen 3 and 4 engines who wish to improve their car's performance with a simple and easy-to-install modification, for use on the track or on fast roads.

Originally designed and developed from our own Golf R Mk8 development car, it also fits a range of other makes and models, including the Audi 8Y S3 and Golf R Mk7/7.5.

This optimized air intake kit replaces the original air filter housing and restrictive intake system. It includes a large conical cotton filter, an aluminum intake duct, and a new air filter housing, significantly improving engine breathing by increasing the amount of cool air drawn in. This results in increased horsepower, performance, and sound.

The filter is protected from the hot air in the engine compartment by a laser-cut heat shield. The airbox is fed with fresh air through a replacement duct that utilizes the two air intakes in the front grille. The perforated airbox cover helps amplify the intake noise. The complete fitting kit also includes a replacement Pro Hoses silicone coolant hose, which runs beneath the airbox to maximize space.

The kit fits perfectly in place of the original part to improve the appearance of the engine compartment and includes all the necessary accessories, fixings and instructions for a direct and easy installation.

Its improved airflow, performance, sound and visual rendering, as well as its ease of installation, make it an essential modification for all modified EA888 Gen 3 and 4 platform models.
