As part of our expanding BMW product range, AIRTEC Motorsport are proud to launch our Oil Catch Can Kit for the N55 engine fitted to the BMW M135i, M235i and M2 non-Competition for quick use on road or track.

Oil catch cans are essential preventative additions to ensure that the performance and efficiency of direct injection engines do not deteriorate over time.

AIRTEC Motorsport’s solution to develop a coolant recovery kit specifically for BMW M models utilises the available space to fit perfectly into the engine bay. It features a high-quality, billet bracket, finished in anodised matt black, which allows the coolant recovery unit to be securely fixed in place.

The canister itself features an internal micron filter, baffle and gauge and detaches for easy maintenance. It comes with a complete fitting kit which includes all fittings and fixings, as well as a detailed installation guide.

Why do I need an oil collector?
The stock oil breather can cause carbon buildup issues inside the engine's intake system over time. It forms an oily sludge that coats parts of the intake and intake valves, reducing airflow and therefore performance and efficiency.

Once the deposit has formed, cleaning it is costly, so it is wise to take preventative measures to avoid carbon deposits from forming. A skimmer can also filter out harmful contaminants before they reach the intake system.
