The filter element is the heart of your Racingline intake. It is a specialized part, handcrafted and designed for high performance and motorsport. Like all other parts of your car, the filter element deserves careful maintenance and should be included in your regular maintenance schedule.

MAINTENANCE

Our air intake, air filter, oil and cleaner kit (below) will help keep your Trifoam filter in top condition at all times and ensure that the complex triple-layer foam continues to provide its filtration power and benefits for many years to come.

Below are cleaning and maintenance instructions. It's a simple procedure, but please take the time to read them carefully or have your technician read them before you begin. We recommend keeping these instructions with your vehicle for future maintenance and servicing.

We recommend cleaning and regreasing the filter element every 16,000 km, and/or performing a visual inspection at least every six months. This simple procedure ensures that your filter continues to deliver more power than a standard vehicle. If your vehicle is regularly used in a dry and dusty environment, we recommend cleaning and regreasing your filter more regularly.

If you do not clean your filter at the intervals indicated above, filtration will not be impaired and your engine will be fully protected. However, you will lose the increased performance due to the additional airflow of a clean filter. The life of the filter element will also be reduced.

This Racingline Oil and Cleaning Kit is essential to help you keep your filter in perfect condition at all times and ensure that the complex triple-layer foam continues to provide its filtration power and benefits for many years to come.

It is important to use only this oil and cleaner kit, as they have been specially formulated to work with our foam air filter material.

WARNING – OILING FILTER ELEMENTS
NEVER use an unoiled or dry foam filter in your vehicle, as this will significantly reduce efficiency and may allow small dust particles to pass through without being trapped by the dust-retaining oil.
