MMX Performance front disc/rotor upgrades are designed to directly replace your original disc/rotor brakes and come as a complete pair with two-piece left- and right-hand floating rotors. Each rotor not only weighs less than the original part, but it also features significantly larger and more efficient directional cooling vanes to ensure consistent braking performance, pad wear, and cooling capacity.

The F-Series M-Cars come standard with a fairly substantial 6-piston front brake system. While the stock caliper performs well, the same cannot be said for the discs. The factory-installed 380mm drilled discs may seem adequate, but their shortcomings quickly become apparent under spirited driving or on the track.

The use of a two-piece, 380 mm x 30 mm floating design allows our disc and cap to expand radially and axially, absorbing the heat generated during heavy use. This prevents the most common cause of warping and cracking seen in one-piece discs. Thanks to the efficiency of this design, MMX discs last significantly longer than original equipment discs. The friction surface features our signature grooves that enhance bite and remove debris from the pad surface, providing the perfect balance between braking feel and longevity.

The central cap is made of 6061-T6 specification aluminum. Our grooved discs are manufactured from proprietary metal alloys, capable of withstanding immense braking temperatures while maintaining their shape. The discs also utilize 72 directionally curved blades to circulate cool air through the rotor to dissipate heat.

Internal vanes direct airflow outwards through the center of the disc, facilitating heat transfer. The rotation of the discs and vanes plays a crucial role in brake cooling, acting as a pump to circulate air. Unlike the original brake discs, our disc upgrade includes a right and a left disc to optimize cooling and ensure consistent braking power for your vehicle.

Because MMX discs dissipate heat much more efficiently, the original compound performs significantly better under real-world conditions; it's only when using the vehicle on the track that we recommend considering a completely different brake pad. But rest assured, you can use OEM or aftermarket performance pads with our discs.
