Oil catch cans are essential preventative devices to ensure that the performance and efficiency of direct injection engines do not deteriorate over time.

AIRTEC Motorsport's solution for developing an oil catch can kit specifically designed for the S1 model utilizes the available space for seamless integration into the engine compartment. It includes a high-quality machined aluminum bracket with a powder-coated satin black finish, allowing for clean and precise mounting of the oil catch can.

The tank features an internal baffle and a gauge, and can be disassembled for easy maintenance. It comes with a complete mounting kit including all necessary fittings and accessories, as well as a detailed installation guide.

Why install an oil catch can?
The original oil breather system can eventually lead to the accumulation of carbon deposits in the engine's intake system. These deposits form an oily sludge that coats parts of the intake system and the intake valves, reducing airflow and, consequently, performance and efficiency.

Once deposits have formed, cleaning them is costly; therefore, it is wise to take preventative measures to avoid their formation. An oil catch can also filter out harmful contaminants before they reach the intake system.
