As part of our expanding BMW product range, AIRTEC Motorsport is proud to launch our direct replacement aluminium undertray for the BMW G87 M2, G80 M3 and G82 M4 models.

The problem :
The original sump on these cars is made of plastic and has a large opening to allow air to cool the engine's oil cooler, which is mounted near the floor. However, due to its low location and lack of protection from flying road debris, it remains open and exposed to damage that could lead to imminent engine failure.

The solution
Our solution to create a direct replacement aluminum undertray began with a complete 3D scan of the vehicle's underside to ensure a perfect fit that reuses all original mounting points.

This means it requires no drilling or cutting and is fully reversible if needed. It also retains the original BMW rubber bumper trim. The laser-cut mesh section prevents any large debris from damaging the oil cooler. Our design also incorporates additional ventilation in the stepped section to improve airflow.

Finished with a high quality black powder coat finish, the underbody provides improved protection, durability and cooling efficiency.

Please note: The wheel arch uses existing mounting points, but it is essential that the mountings used are of good quality. Genuine BMW mountings should only be used if they are in good condition. Worn, corroded, or broken mountings should be replaced with new BMW parts, as failure to do so could result in the wheel arch coming loose.
