MQB Billet Underbody Tunnel Braces mount under the body to help combat body flex. This improves rigidity to help sharpen handling, while providing valuable additional clearance for a larger diameter exhaust system.

What do they do ?
MQB cars rely on thin, stamped steel tunnel braces underneath as standard equipment in an attempt to reinforce the weakest points of the body and limit chassis flex under demanding loads. Our new billet underbody braces replace these weak braces with finely machined aluminum replacements, dramatically improving rigidity, providing much better exhaust clearance, and even looking great!

CNC machined from a solid billet of 6061-T6 aluminum, each bracket has been designed to eliminate unnecessary material while increasing rigidity.
With any 3" diameter exhaust system, the stock brace doesn't provide enough clearance. So rather than removing the tunnel brace, our new rear tunnel brace finally gives you the option to replace it, giving you the clearance you need while preserving essential body rigidity.
Despite the added rigidity, this improved dynamic performance comes without sacrificing ride quality or introducing additional noise, vibration or harshness into the cabin.
The bracket designs mean installation is simple, using existing bodywork mounting points with no drilling or trim removal required, ensuring the fitment is completely reversible.
We offer two brackets: a center tunnel bracket and a rear tunnel bracket. Front-wheel drive car owners can install both, all-wheel drive cars can only install the rear tunnel bracket.
Looking to install a larger bore exhaust system?
For large diameter aftermarket exhausts, there is simply no clearance above the stock tunnel brace. Many owners have no choice but to remove the brace. But the brace is there for a reason. With the extra clearance provided by our rear tunnel brace, you can now maintain strength and accommodate your larger exhaust.
