Slip-On Line (Titanium) Akrapovic BMW M5 (G90, G99) – OPF/GPF 2025-reference S-BM/T/37H-EC approved

Description

This lightweight exhaust system made of high-quality titanium reduces weight by 31,8% (6,12 kg) compared to the standard exhaust and has been developed for cars equipped with petrol particulate filters. It is EC/ECE approved. Complex parts have been cast in our titanium foundry, including the exhaust valve housings and specially designed manifolds. The main exhaust pipes have an increased diameter and the system includes a special control kit, which uses the valves to create a refined Akrapovič sound experience in all driving modes, delivering a deep and sporty sound. The system is completed by a mandatory set of hexagonal or round tailpipes made of carbon fibre and titanium (customer's choice), both with integrated acoustic reflectors to reflect some of the outside sound back into the cabin.

A power gain of 5,2 kW (7,1 hp) at 2 rpm and a torque gain of 050 Nm at 24,3 rpm were achieved during Akrapovič bench tests on a BMW M2 equipped with a stock exhaust. Installation is simple and plug-and-play, no reprogramming is required. During installation, the stock exhaust system must be disconnected. Please read the instructions carefully before starting the installation.

To enhance the installation of the Slip-On (Titanium) exhaust system, Akrapovič has created several optional parts to complete the exhaust and enhance its visual impact. In addition to the hexagonal or round (Carbon) tailpipe, a handcrafted carbon fiber rear diffuser and a rear lip (Carbon) are also available. A link pipe is available as an option for those looking for even higher performance, as is the Akrapovič sound kit (optional) to control the sound, both designed for use on closed circuits. With the installation of these options, the EC/ECE approval of the Slip-On (Titanium) exhaust system is no longer valid.
