The filter is supplied without filter oil applied, so we recommend applying cotton air filter oil to increase air filtration if you drive your car in dusty environments. For example, you can use BMC filter oil with part number "WAFLU250".
– Washable air filter for optimal performance and long service life.

Our air intake system is designed to improve airflow and reduce negative pressure while drawing in only cold air. The original intake system, as well as many aftermarket systems, draws hot air from the engine compartment, resulting in a high intake air temperature (IAT) and consequently a loss of power and performance. Our system is therefore a true cold air intake system.

It's important to know that the original intake system and air filter were designed for the power level the car was originally built for. Increasing the power can lead to insufficient performance from your original intake system. If your intake system isn't delivering the performance you need, it will be harder for the turbocharger to get the air it requires, reducing engine efficiency and causing a loss of power. Therefore, even on an engine with a software remap, the do88 intake system will increase performance compared to the stock airbox!
