Tests performed on our SF-1020 SuperFlow test bench clearly demonstrate the importance of this option with the turbo inlet hose and piping. The intake system alone provides a substantial 17% increase in airflow. Combined with the do88 turbo inlet hose and 3″ turbo inlet piping, the total airflow increase reaches an impressive 42%! We highly recommend this combination.

Our intake system is designed to improve airflow and reduce negative pressure while drawing in only cold air. Many aftermarket intake systems draw in hot air from the engine compartment, resulting in very high IAT (Intake Air Temperature) and therefore a loss of power and performance. Our system is a true cold air intake.

Always keep in mind that the EM intake system and air filter were designed for the power level the car was originally built for. Increasing the power output can lead to underperformance from your stock intake system. If your intake system isn't performing adequately, it will be harder for the turbocharger to get the air it needs, reducing engine efficiency and causing you to lose horsepower. Therefore, even on an engine with a software remap, the do88 intake system will offer a performance increase compared to the OEM airbox!
