The Racingline Performance Cold Air Intake System Kit delivers fresh cold air from outside the engine bay directly to your engine for the Seat Leon Cupra and Cupra R mk2 models via a large diameter free-flowing intake pipe. The Volkswagen Cold Air Intake System replaces the restrictive factory intake system with an efficient high-flow intake system that uses a reusable foam filter for life. Developed for use in the Racingline Performance Cup where removal of the factory intake is possible, the Racingline Performance system delivers astonishing gains of up to 9% in peak power over the standard intake system. In some cases, the turbocharger spool has been dropped by nearly 500 rpm, reducing turbo lag and creating lightning-fast turbo response. The Racingline Performance Intake Filter is constructed from a three-layer form of open cell polyurethane, which provides a high level of filtration to protect the engine from airborne contaminants, without significantly restricting airflow. This same filter material is used by F1 teams around the world due to its excellent filtration and airflow properties. In VWR's experience, cheaper foam filter materials are unable to provide the same flow and filtration, meaning a compromise for your engine.
