Akrapovic Link Pipe titanium central tube for BMW M5 G90 / G99 - Reference E-BM/T/17

Description

Made from high-quality, lightweight titanium, this assembly was developed to be combined with the Akrapovič Slip-On Line (Titanium) exhaust and optimize performance. The X-connection, which allows the gases from both sides of the engine to blend in a unique symphony, is cast in our own titanium foundry. The assembly offers a weight reduction of 72,6% (19,56 kg) compared to the original part. Combined with the Slip-On Line (Titanium) exhaust system, it achieved a power gain of 8,5 kW (11,5 hp) at 6 rpm and a torque gain of 150 Nm at 15,6 rpm when tested on the Akrapovič test bench with a BMW M2 equipped with a stock exhaust.

Acoustic feedback to the driver and passengers, the sound level and content evolve according to the rpm and load, while pleasant backfires accompany downshifts and a rich, comfortable sound is produced when cruising.

When installing the Akrapovič Evolution (Titanium) link pipe kit, ECU reprogramming is mandatory to prevent the engine light from appearing. Using the Evolution (Titanium) link pipe kit voids the EC/ECE approval of the Slip-On (Titanium) line.
