What is the 4th Generation Turbo Muffler Delete used for?

Our tapered turbo muffler delete for 2.0 TSI EA888.4 245ps is a stylish single billet design combined with a larger diameter silicone junction pipe that replaces the restrictive and energy-consuming compressor outlet with a smooth, turbulence-free air path exiting the turbo.

The standard part is located on the turbocharger outlet to reduce engine bay acoustics, but adds disruptive turbulence to the airflow where you don't want it.

The OEM part has an internal diameter of 38mm, while the Racingline tapered design expands to 53mm, joining perfectly with the smooth, stepped 53mm silicone hose inside.

By replacing the standard part with the Turbo Muffler Delete cone silencer and silicone hose, you will replace this unwanted restriction with an uninterrupted and smooth air path developed by CFD.

The result: noticeably better boost response, providing a bit more power and throttle response, while still allowing you to actually hear your turbo working.
